*The 8LL is an 8 speed with 5 low / low (deep reduction)
gears on the low side of your transmission. You can use this to pull
real heavy loads
without stressing your driveline as much, especially if on a steep hill. Just
drive it like a normal 8 speed and it will work fine. The 8LL works
like a 15 speed just
not as many gears. They work great! Here's a tip - don't try to shift
from
low to deep reduction while still moving because you will tear up the
gears in the back half real easily.
